If you have a conditional formatting rule running in a column(s), you can sort your list or data by using the conditional formatting rule.
(1) From the Data tab in the Sort & Filter group, (2) select the Sort button. (4) Select your 'sort by' column choice, (5) in the 'Sort on' drop-down selection select 'Conditional formatting icon'. You can also (6) select which icon to place at the top and which icon to place at the bottom of your list.
Click OK and your column is now arranged by Conditional Formatting icons.
